Erica London's wish is to have a baby. After failed attempts at in vitro fertilization, Erica's fears of never finding love or having a family increase. She goes to her family's lodge to clear her head. A snow storm comes up causing passerby Spencer Rafferty's car to get stuck in a ditch. He seeks refuge with Erica at her lodge and during the next few days the two grow closer. Their passion ignites and before long they give into temptation. The two enjoy their time together, but Erica wonders what will happen to her and Spencer once the storm clears.
I love holiday-themed stories and Her Christmas Wishes is now on the list of one of my favorites. The setting with the ranch, snow storm, and the lodge made it feel like Christmas time. I liked Erica and my heart when out to her as she feared that she'd never find true love or have a baby. I loved her romance with Spencer, even though their relationship moved a bit too fast, I liked how cute they were with each other. I also liked Hank, Erica's godfather, who treated her like his own child. His scenes where he gave Erica advice and they talked about her parents was one of my favorite parts.
If you're in the mood for a holiday romance with a touch of western, I recommend Her Christmas Wishes.

This book was given to me for an honest review. A cute short story with Erica and Spence being snowed in at her lodge. She needed some time alone and Spence was on his way to his brother's wedding, missed his turn and ended up in a ditch. As they get to know each other they start falling in love. Erica has been wanting a baby with no luck with invitro fertilization. This may be her chance but the storm lets up and they are plowed out. Spence leaves. 5 weeks later he's back and they have a surprise for each other. Very well written story.

Erica London needs some time alone to figure out if she should continue with the in vitro treatments. They haven’t worked so far. She really wants to have a baby and an heir to the ranch…to know he or she was on the way before Christmas. Of course, wishing for a man to love her and produce said baby would be wonderful, but that’s not about to happen. She rides over to the London Lodge, situated on the back end of the London Ranch, to clean and close it down for the winter. A freak blizzard has her snowed in, but she doesn’t mind in the least. She has food, shelter, and wood fires to keep her warm. Besides, she enjoys not having the phone ringing or wranglers stopping in to chat.
Spencer Rafferty is on his way to his brother’s wedding when he takes a wrong turn and ends up on a side road. His car hits a nasty drift and barrels into the ditch. With no signal on his cell phone, he looks around and all he sees is white. He smells wood smoke but can’t determine where it’s coming from. Then, in a moment of clarity when the wind dies down, he sees the smoke and walks down the road toward it.
Erica opens the door with gun in hand, unsure whether or not to allow the stranger in. But the storm is a raging blizzard and she takes pity on him. When not covered in snow, she sees just how handsome the man is…and he’s not wearing a ring. When the power goes out, things heat up. Could this man be the one to make her wishes come true? Did she have it in her to embark on a weekend affair? And could she survive his leaving when the storm was over?
Very winter warming book. Another great sweet short story for you. Erica is down and upset having trying over and over have baby on her own. So she went to close up her little vacation lodge. But stayed for little R & R. Both some in comes Spencer getting lost during snow storm. And she found out the man she has it for is one of her all time favorite authors. He fell for her after some time part. He came back!

Such a sweet story!! What are the odds that a very sexy man shows up at your lodge when you are there winterizing it? Then to add to it, he turns out to be your favorite author and you have all his books. Oh my!
