You won’t find a dull moment in this romantic suspense filled with memorable characters, excellent dialogue and gripping details of the Afghan countryside—the latter an excellent twist to the mystery and one that caught me by surprise. I also was delighted to see the book focus on the second of the Irish triplets, whom readers met in the fifth and sixth books in the Thunder Creek Ranch series. I’m always eager to see what the Mannings are up to, and I especially love it when I also can see what my favorite characters, the three red-headed siblings, are up to. I’m already anticipating whether the next TCR book will focus on the remaining sister. :)
4 stars Exquisite Reviews - Kidnapped: The Search for Casey
By Exquisite Reviews on October 12, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition
The story believe it or not starts with Casey who is Lynne’s cousin being kidnapped. That’s as much as you’ll get from me about the kidnapping and all that. The main characters here are Lynne and Trent the private investigator that travels with Lynne to help her find Casey. These two get in all sorts of situation as they are following and trying to catch the kidnappers of Casey while getting Casey home safe.
Overall a very interesting story that I found enjoy despite not liking some of the omitted words during their sexual interaction, but hey at least I know that even if I take the sex scenes out of the book the plot and storyline stands.
The book is part of a series, but you can easily read it as a single novel. I would rate this book a 4 for content, character development and plot. I will give it 2.8 flames because while there is sexual content certain parts are not mentioned or sexual acts are not fully detailed, but implied.
