Reader Reviews - Mistletoe & Mr. Hoe
5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful Christmas read
ByMichelle Fayardon December 12, 2015
Format: Kindle Edition
Author Lorraine Nelson is at her best in this, her second full-length novel. Deftly employing the writing style that has earned her numerous loyal readers, Ms. Nelson does a superb job of building the romance between the holiday-loving heroine, Noelle Parsons, and Christmas-shy hero, Simon Hoe. Tenderness, warmth and humor merge delightfully with a page-turning plot, a town filled with memorable characters and top-notch dialogue for a tale that won’t soon be forgotten. MISTLETOE & MR. HOE is the perfect holiday—or anytime—read whether you’re looking to lift your spirits or give yourself a reason to smile. Filled with the magic of Christmas and the magic of love, this book is simply beautiful in every way; I could read a Lorraine Nelson book every day of the year and never get enough of them!

Mistletoe and Mr. Hoe is a great read. Very fun and lively. The story is well written and I think that this new author, Lorraine Nelson has a great future. I am eager to read more by Nelson. I was one of the lucky few who downloaded this book free at Christmas but that said I would encourage others to purchase this book. Enjoyable and fun sums up this book.

After a bad breakup Noelle moves to a small town to open Wonderland Toys & Crafts, a Christmas shop.
She soon meets Simon, the owner of the bakery/coffee shop.
Noelle is being threatened by strange phone calls. Simon convinces her to go to the police. All works out and Noelle makes some new friends in the police department. She begins to volunteer at the local orphanage.
But Simon hates everything about Christmas due to an awful incident in his childhood.
Can he get past this and give his heart to someone who practically lives Christmas every day of the year?
