5.0 out of 5 stars Author Lorraine Nelson just keeps getting better

Format: Kindle Edition
There isn’t a Lorraine Nelson book I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed, and it is a real treat as a reader to experience the breadth and depth of Ms. Nelson’s latest title. Ms. Nelson’s trademark ability to create highly real and memorable characters is at its peak in ONCE UPON A CHRISTMAS WISH, and the rich depth of the emotions keeps the pages turning. One thing I’ve never been overly fond of in a book is a hero that gets portrayed as overly troubled or arrogant yet seemingly changes with the love of a good woman; this book is superb, because the hero is just the kind of person you’d like to meet and get to know and love. The heroine is every bit as wonderful—filled with the same great sense of humor and love of life as the hero. The plot is poignant, tender and love-filled, and the Christmas setting emphasizes the message that we are meant to be happy and know love. A keeper in every way!
